An opportunity to join a local family run business of over 60 years that takes pride in the services we offer to customers. It is important that you are well presented with a friendly personality, who is approachable, reliable, punctual and can work well as part of a team, as well as adapting to various tasks that may be required as part of a small business.
This role is unique and allows the candidate to become involved within all aspects in the business, as well as delivering first class front of house service to our valued customers. This role will also offer the option of potentially increasing to full time in the future.

3 days per week 8:30am-5:00pm.
(Consideration to full time for the perfect candidate if desired)

Job Description:
-Managing of the front desk, greeting customers, manage coordination of phone calls, offering and maintaining refreshments, etc.
-Service reception, taking bookings, reserving loan cars, administration and assisting customers.
-To perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, maintain internal database records, supporting management and all departments.
-Communicating with customers and suppliers by phone, email, or letter, providing customer support throughout.
-Support to the sales team when needed.
-Maintain showroom display, and from work with the Management team to promote new products and concepts.
-Operate reception for our sister company White Horse Self Storage. This will require answering the phone, assisting customers, taking payments etc.

As we are located away from public transport, and the nature of the role the candidate will need to have a valid UK Driving Licence, and ideally some previous experience either in the motor trade, or in a customer service role. You will need to have good IT and organisation skills, be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and wanting to do your very best, whilst enjoying a varied role. You will be required to promote services, so selling skills will be an advantage. More importantly, you will need to be a team player, with excellent telephone and communication skills.

The Location:
Just 10 minutes from central Exeter, 15 minutes from Crediton, 20 minutes from both Okehampton and Newton Abbot. Our Garage is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty, away from the hustle and bustle of a trading estate, with walks, a shop, post office and pub all within 5 minutes.

Start date: Immediate onwards.
Salary: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
