OUR RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
In these unprecedented times, we wanted to reassure and let everyone know that our top priority is the health and safety of our customers and employees. We are fully committed to protecting and supporting everyone who works for us, supplies us and buys from us. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and we are following the advice from the World Health Organisation, Central Government and local authorities. We are open for business as usual; however, we have implemented certain changes, in order to enhance our hygiene practices and minimise the risk of exposure.
WHM Hygiene Practices:
We have introduced enhanced cleaning measures to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness should you visit our dealership. All contact points are being regularly sanitised, and there is sanitising hand gel available for our customers to use upon arrival.
Although our valeting department have an exceptionally high quality of valeting already, extra sanitizing procedures have been introduced when cleaning the vehicles. We have also introduced the sanitising of vehicles after every test drive, and courtesy cars upon their return to our dealership.
Our staff are also fully prepared to minimise the risk of contamination and are regularly washing/sanitising their hands too. Our service teams are carrying out all work using protective equipment including, gloves and seat covers. All keys are also being disinfected, as well as door handles, steering wheels etc.
Due to the current situation though please don’t take offence by our members of staff not greeting you in our usual manner of shaking hands or hugging. We can assure you that you will still be greeted with the same friendly manner and positive attitude that you are used to from all of us here at White Horse Motors, but without the contact!
What we can all do:
If you do wish to visit us, we would love to see you! However, we would ask that you adhere to the following suggestions, for everyone’s benefit:
• Please wash or sanitise your hands upon arrival at White Horse Motors.
• Avoid handshakes
• Try to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing. We would ask that you place tissues in the bin after use, and then wash or sanitise your hands after. All Showroom staff do have sanitiser available at their desks should you require the use of any.
We also kindly ask that if you have been to any of the affected locations listed on the UK Government website, are self-isolating, are experiencing any of the symptoms of the virus, or live with someone who is displaying symptoms, that you please avoid visiting White Horse Motors, until after the advised period of time to avoid the spread of the virus. But we will still be able to assist you via phone, email, or webchat!
As this is a very uncertain period for everyone, we have been working hard to try and minimise the disruption and keep everything operating smoothly as we can for our customers. Each department within the business has new adaptations to ultimately make everything as safe and secure as possible for our employees, customers and anyone we do business with. We have streamlined the vehicle purchasing procedure to make it as easy as possible for customers to purchase from ourselves, now entirely online if required! Measures have also been made in the Service & Parts Department to make transactions and logistics as easy as possible for everyone involved, with options to complete purchases online too.
We are now open for online purchasing!
Of course, we would still love to welcome you to our dealership but understand that over the coming weeks it may become harder for people to do this. Therefore, our sales department are now fully equipped to offer online sales to our customers! This means you can complete the whole purchase of your vehicle from the comfort of your own home, with no need to visit the dealership, or for a salesperson to visit you!
We can offer:
– Personalised vehicle presentations, or video calls
Our sales team can arrange a convenient time to conduct an online appointment, with a video call to show you the vehicle in detail, answer any questions you may have, and even take you on a virtual test drive! Of course, if you would rather have a presentation sent to you, we can also arrange this.
– Remote Part-Exchange Valuations
Competitive prices for your part-exchange are available, entirely online. We do ask though that you are as honest as possible regarding your description, so we can be as honest as possible about our valuation!
– Online finance
The whole process from proposal to pay out can now be completed from the comfort of your own home, with no requirement for our salesperson to come to you!
– Home Delivery & Part Exchange collection available
We can provide delivery of your new vehicle, and even collect your part exchange, with no need for you to leave your home! Your vehicle will be fully sanitised before leaving our dealership, and please rest assured our staff all adhere to strict hygiene rules, as well as carrying sanitisation products with them.
– Private vehicle viewings
If you would still like to view your vehicle in person before purchasing, we can offer private vehicle viewing, in order to minimise the amount of contact with staff and members of the public.
We are still welcoming customers onsite though! Please rest assured that all vehicles on display are regularly sanitised, especially after any viewings! Our staff are all committed to ensure White Horse Motors remains as safe as possible and are fully aware of the company’s policies on COVID-19 and the hygiene levels that are expected. – Collection/Drop off Service
If you are unable to make it to us, why let your vehicle become neglected? We can offer a collection and drop off service should your vehicle need to visit our workshop! Please enquire for more information.
– Courtesy Vehicles
We have a range of courtesy vehicles to choose from whilst your vehicle is with us. These vehicles are sanitised after every use, providing peace of mind for yourself.
– Minimal contact drop off & collections
Should you wish to drop off and collect your vehicle with as minimum physical interaction as possible, please let us know upon booking and we can ensure this is carried out for you.
Just like our sales staff, our service team are fully aware of the importance of sanitisation and are adhering to our policy for COVID-19, which is inline with the governments recommendations and which is updated daily. Protective equipment, for example gloves and seat covers, will be used to minimise the chance of contamination of your vehicle.
